An Alignment Mechanics align and balance each truck for the best possible tire wear.

Disassemble chassis and truck bodies to make frames accessible to frame straightening equipment and straighten frames.

Reassemble as needed to keep truck intact for the body shop department.

RESPONSIBILITIES Disassemble truck chassis and components.

Mount truck chassis on frame straightening equipment and straighten frame and chassis.

Reassemble chassis and components as needed.

Align front axle and rear tandems.

Balance front steer tires and tighten wheel bearings.

Tire work: air all tires, check and tighten all lug nuts.
