To be successful in the role of Tool and Die Maker at CEP Technologies Corporation, certain skills and qualifications are necessary. These include: - Must be a Journeyman Toolmaker for precision metal stamping dies - Experience with progressive dies for 60-ton and smaller presses - Ability to read engineering drawings with an understanding of IPS measurements (inch, pound, second) - Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc. - Experience with surface grinding, mills, and lathes - Knowledge of CNC machining operations is a plus - Must have a basic knowledge of press operation and the fundamentals of setting a press, including setting pitch and shut height. Having these skills and qualifications will enable you to excel in your role, ensuring the precision and accuracy necessary for manufacturing high-quality tools and dies.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Must be Journeyman Toolmaker for precision metal stamping dies

Experience with progressive dies 60 ton and smaller presses

Ability to read engineering drawings with an understanding of IPS measurements (inch pound second)

Experience using precision measurement tools, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.

Experience with surface grinding mills and lathes

Knowledge of CNC machining operations a plus

Must have a basic knowledge of press operation and the basics of setting a press (setting pitch and shut height)
