Qorvos Trade Compliance team provides subject matter expertise on export, import, customs and sanctions laws and regulations to support Qorvos global business operations.

This position is responsible for supporting Qorvos Trade Compliance Manager and Qorvos Global Head of Compliance in the timely and efficient import of international shipments.

The role is primarily focused on customs/import compliance, but will also support certain export duties (e.g., denied party screening) as needed.

The successful candidate will work closely with business and operational teams and must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Hybrid work model (not a remote position)

Locations: Greensboro, NC or Dallas, TX

**Responsibilities:**

- Ensure accuracy of customs/import documentation

- Conduct post-transaction review of US customs entries and support routine review of broker performance

- Provide HTS, valuation, country of origin and Schedule B for Qorvo products

- Assist with monitoring controls and conducting compliance audits

- Assist in developing work instructions and guidance documents

- Conduct monthly analysis of import activity to identify risks and opportunities

- Perform restricted party screening and transaction reviews, as needed

**Minimum Requirements:**

- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

- Minimum 5 years experience in import/customs

```

- Prior experience with international logistics and/or customs brokerage preferred

- Demonstrated knowledge of US customs/import rules and regulations

- Expertise in HTS/Schedule B Classification

- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task, set priorities and execute timely to meet deadlines and strategic objectives

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, judgment, interpersonal skills,including ability to take initiative, anticipate problems, work collaboratively with the flexibility to adapt

**Preferred Requirements:**

- Proficiency with SAP

- Working knowledge of US export rules and experience with compliance software such as SAP GTS and denied party screening applications

- Experience in microelectronics industry
