Summary of Role

STP is looking for an Implementation Manager in our Fund Services vertical. In this newly created role, you as the Implementation manager will lead projects, track risks and action items, and convert new clients onto our platform. A solid understanding of Fund Administration is critical in this role, along with the ability to successfully manage projects from beginning to end. The incumbent should be passionate about client service and delivering the most efficient and complete solution for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong project management skills as well as being detailed oriented and able to manage internal and client project partners.

What You'll Do

Work with clients and/or internal partners to gather requirements and manage those to devise, document, develop and implement solutions and complete their tasks for a successful project.

Develop and manage a project plan to support the requirements of the project.

Organize, manage, and lead client and internal calls.

Manage development team and client expectations.

Interact directly with the Operations, Systems, Software, Project Management, and Professional Services teams to ensure that projects, business & technical requirements are well defined, tracked adequately with metrics, remain on schedule, and are delivered on time.

Define and support the implementation of fund administration workflows, applying best practices and process efficiencies.

Serve as a technical accounting expert and key advisor on significant business/accounting decisions for implementation team.

Review and perform accounting and analytical onboarding duties into accounting systems.

Review portfolio and investor accounting data used to generate client statements to ensure successful implementation onto STP platforms.

Review historical asset- and fund-level performance metrics (IRRs, TVPI, etc.) to ensure accuracy for business-as-usual handoff.

Track open requirement items until closure. Flag any potential service delivery issues as early as possible, escalate with other team members and managers.

Adhere to deadlines, communicate delays to manager and ensure work is completed as expected to ensure agreed 'live' dates are met.

Lead any training required to the business-as-usual team and/or the client to ensure knowledge transfer is completed to ensure a successful client launch.

Manage client data conversions and serve as lead during any client parallel phase ensuring accuracy of books and records in STP platforms - work to resolve issues

On-going review of implementation controls and procedures.

Assist in user acceptance testing.Requirements:

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, Management, Information Systems, or other relevant major or a combination of education/experience.

Minimum of 5+ years Fund Administration industry experience.

3+ years Eagle experience.

Minimum 3+ years of project experience collaborating with a global team.

Extensive working knowledge of fund administration systems and NAV delivery process for both close and open-ended fund vehicles.

Extensive technical knowledge of the treatment of complex financial instruments from an accounting standpoint.

Strong client management skills and ability to build key relationships.

Experience with implementing process improvement methodology and/or demonstrated experience with efficiency improvement.

Experience interfacing directly with clients within Financial Markets.

Experience in business process re-engineering, business systems analysis, process improvement involving broad-based information systems utilizing tools and techniques required.

Must be able to learn quickly and deliver results in our dynamic environment.

Must be enthusiastic, diligent, and take initiative and pride in their work.

Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the technology and operations teams, including the use of collaboration tools, source control, documentation, and bug tracking.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and changing priorities.

Ability to work with minimal supervision within a structured environment

Preferred Education and Experience

Experience with data management products (e.g. Markit EDM).

Experience with currently used software systems (e.g. JIRA).

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication skills: Clear and effective communication is vital for this role. This includes both written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
