Corrigan Krause is currently assisting in the search for a full-time, hybrid Accounting Associate for one of our clients, located in an east-side suburb of Cleveland. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a reputable general contracting industry leader with over 15 years of experience. As the Accounting Associate, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial activities, office operations and ensuring compliance while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Financial Management
Utilize Foundations software to manage sales, invoicing, expenses, payments, accounts receivable/payable, and job costing tracking
Conduct analysis for cash flow reporting and maintain accurate financial records
Coordinate with the accounting team for budgeting, change orders, and financial reporting
HR Assistance
Schedule drug tests and organize training schedules for employees
Assist in maintaining compliance with HR policies and procedures
Compliance Reporting
Ensure all compliance reporting requirements are met and maintained
Correct any discrepancies in compliance reporting as necessary
Office Operations
Organize and ensure efficient office operations, including managing office supplies, correspondence, and office projects
Provide support to staff members and address inquiries or concerns promptly
Team Leadership
Lead and supervise the office team, providing guidance and support as needed
Foster a positive work environment with effective communication and employee engagement initiatives
Position requirements
3+ years of Accounting experience
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Microsoft Office Suite and Foundations Software experience is a must
Effective writing, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
The high degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
