AZ Quality Services is a family owned and woman-led growing multi-state company who is seeking (2) flexible team players to work full-time as Quality Liaisons in a major manufacturing assembly plant in Detroit, MI

MUST SEW BY HAND AND INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE!

Compensation:

$18 per hour

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Follow and observe plant safety rules

Represent supplier plant on requests from the customer

Take initiative to solve potential customer issues, before detected/requested

Walk assembly lines reviewing rejected containers for supplier concerns and notify applicable party

Report quality defects to the supplier plant with detailed pictures and descriptions (company laptop provided)

Rework defective parts (when applicable)

Attend quality meetings if requested

Participate in conference calls with supplier plant

As requested, attend meetings with Quality Manager to request feedback or discuss concerns

Drive corrective actions, resolution and implementation dates from Supplier plant

Escalate issues if Supplier plant does not respond

Monitor and assure conformance with in-house material defects reported by Customer, Supplier Plant, Counterparts, Shareholders and other Liaison

Experience & Skill Requirements:

Proactive / Reliable / Responsible

Computer Proficient (MS Word, MS Excel)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in-person & via email)

Rework/Sorting experience

Disposition to work long hours if requested

High level of customer service

Root cause analysis (8D’s, 5 whys, fishbone, etc.)

Automotive parts shipping, receiving & logistics

Automotive supplier components and assemblies

Physical Requirements:

Must move unassisted

Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time on unpadded flooring

Work long shifts with a flexible schedule

Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Shift/Schedule:

A- Shift: Monday-Thursday- 5:00am - 5:30pm (Mandatory overtime based on shipping and production needs)
