Job Title: Forklift Driver (Warehouse Associate C)
Reports To: Manufacturing Production Manager
Shift: 6:30pm-6:30am on a 2-2-3 rotation schedule (Additional $2.00 an hour night shift differential)
Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining handling, storing, and moving materials and inventory within the warehouse, delivering and stocking materials to the proper production locations. Warehouse Associates are expected to demonstrate high levels of responsibility and accountability, working effectively and efficiently on assigned tasks and projects.

Essential Duties
Deliver and retrieve materials to appropriate production areas based on established production schedule (e.g., film rolls, pallets, wickets, etc.)
Assist in the shipping and receiving of materials, including loading/unloading trucks and verifying shipments against load/packing slips
Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklift, motor vehicle, hydraulic cart, pallet jack, etc.
Ensure all pallets/boxes have the correct label/pallet tag, are properly corner-boarded, banded, wrapped, and weighed in preparation for shipment
Transfer materials between production sites and warehouse locations where appropriate
Perform accurate cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
Work in a team environment with limited supervision
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate in both the written and spoken language of English to a level that will allow the safe and effective performance of the job
Commitment to following and promoting safe work habits (compliance with all Safety/AIB policies and procedures)
Ability to successfully organize and manage details, multiple projects, and deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
Physical Requirements
Consistent walking, talking, sitting, standing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, grasping, reaching, stooping, lifting (up to 50 pounds), movements requiring fine motors skills and visual acuity
Work is typically performed in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment though certain tasks/projects may occur outside
Safety glasses, steel/composite toed shoes, and hearing protection when working on production floor

Associate is generally protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from high and low temperatures
Sufficient noise regularly requires Associate to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level
Associate will be regularly exposed to a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, powered industrial vehicles, electrical current, and stored potential energy
Associate may be exposed to conditions that affect the respiratory system or skin such as fumes, odors, dust mists, gases, limited ventilation, oils, chemicals, cutting fluids, etc.
