VIRGINIA/ FRANCE: SUMMER TRAVEL NANNY

Overview:

NATIONWIDE SEARCH: CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA/ FRANCE- Family is seeking a FULL-TIME TEMPORARY TRAVEL NANNY to care for their 2-year-old son while they embark on a Summer adventure to Saint Briac, France from July 1- September 7, 2024. The family also has a 9-month-old that may need occasional care, but it will be very rare. The ideal candidate will join the family in Charlottesville, VA prior to departure.

Hours are 6 days a week, 10 hour days, a total of 60 hours a week. Pay is $30/hr + overtime, gross via payroll.

The nanny will have separate living quarters on the same property, ensuring privacy with a separate bedroom, bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. Responsibilities will primarily revolve around basic childcare, including preparing meals for the child. Bonus if the nanny enjoys preparing meals for the family on occasion.

Other duties include potty training, facilitating one nap a day, planning local activities, outings, and daily schedules to keep the little one engaged and entertained. The family would love to find a nanny that can speak either Brazilian, Portuguese, or French, however it is not a requirement.

There will be a dog in the home, but no care is required, a valid passport is essential for travel and the family prefers a candidate who is fully vaccinated.

Qualifications:

BA/BS college degree AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer

Non-smoker

Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
