If you are looking to work alongside a team of highly energetic, passionate and driven people, then this opportunity may be for you. Reporting to the Director of Customer Operations, this Loan Repayment Specialist will:
Follows Meritize's policies and procedures, when initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from borrowers
Negotiates clear and effective account resolution
Documents actions within the collection systems
Maintains company performance and productivity standards
Updates contact information in the collections systems
Supports other work/call queues to facilitate teamwork in the department
Escalates and assists other team members with calls as needed
Performs activities such as skip tracing, credit bureau reviews or administrative tasks
Qualifications:
Working closely with the other members of the team, this person will meet the following requirements:
At least 1 years of related experience in loan repayment
Previous student loan, subprime or installment loan collections experience is a plus preferred
Bilingual Spanish/English is desirable but not required
Previous experience in a compliant workplace (FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA) preferred
