Responsibilities:

Under the general direction of the Cardiology Medical Director, will monitor patients' exercise ability and adjust daily exercise sessions to meet physical and psychosocial aspect of care. Ensures all maintenance of exercise equipment and inventory. Monitors par level of supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.

Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience

1. Graduate or currently enrolled in a Masters Program in a field related to Exercise Science or equivalent with skills and experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.

2. 6 months of recent and relevant experience, preferred

3. Basic Life Support (BCLS) upon hire and maintained current

4. Dysrhythmia Course completion within 30 days of hire

5. ACLS preferred
