As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation and functionality of industrial machinery and equipment. You will play a critical role in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency within an industrial setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conduct routine and preventive maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, including but not limited to, motors, conveyors, production machines, and other automated systems.

Perform lubrication, cleaning, and calibration to ensure optimal performance.

Identify and diagnose malfunctions in machinery and equipment through systematic troubleshooting.

Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to pinpoint and resolve issues.

Execute repairs on faulty equipment by replacing defective parts, adjusting settings, or performing other corrective actions.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when conducting maintenance activities.

Identify and address safety hazards associated with machinery and equipment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.

Update maintenance logs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) as required.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance issues and solutions.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and efficiency of industrial processes.

Provide training to operators and other maintenance staff on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Ability to use hand and power tools with precision.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Understanding of safety regulations and protocols.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand for extended periods. Stoop, crawl and work in confined spaces as necessary. Lift and move heavy equipment.

Safety

Learns and complies with all company safety rules. Always use appropriate safety equipment, including safety glasses and ear protection when on the production floor. Immediately reports all unsafe conditions to supervisors. Must be familiar with all safety features on equipment, machinery or materials encompassed by job duties.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to machine noise, cutting oils, solvents, and coolant vapors.
