Job Overview:

As a Logistics Supervisor at Reliable Tire Disposal, you will be instrumental in optimizing our transportation and logistics operations. This role requires a strategic thinker focusing on route efficiency, fleet maintenance, driver performance, regulatory compliance, cost reduction, customer satisfaction, data analysis, and continuous improvement. Your success in this role will be measured by achieving and surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Route Efficiency Improvement:

Develop and implement strategies to measure and improve route efficiency over time.

Consider factors such as reduced travel time, fuel consumption, and operational costs in the evaluation process. Miles, hours, fuel

Fleet Maintenance Adherence:

Monitor and ensure strict adherence to vehicle maintenance schedules to guarantee the optimal performance and safety of the entire fleet.

Implement measures to reduce the risk of breakdowns and increase the longevity of vehicles.

Driver Performance and Safety Compliance:

Evaluate driver performance through key metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and safety and regulatory standards compliance.

Implement training programs to enhance driver skills and safety awareness.

Regulatory Compliance Achievement:

Ensure strict compliance with environmental and transportation regulations.

Maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate adherence to established standards.

Cost Reduction in Transportation:

Track, analyze, and report on initiatives to reduce transportation costs.

Implement optimization strategies for routes, fuel efficiency, and resource allocation to achieve cost-reduction goals.

Customer Satisfaction Ratings:

Implement a system to gather and analyze customer feedback to assess satisfaction levels.

Address customer concerns promptly and develop improvement plans to enhance the overall customer experience.

Data Analysis and Reporting Accuracy:

Develop a robust system for accurate transportation data analysis and reporting.

Ensure that key metrics and performance indicators are reported comprehensively and reliably.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

Assess the success and impact of continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance transportation efficiency and reduce environmental impact over time.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in Logistics and logistics management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of environmental and transportation regulations.

The success of the Logistics Supervisor will be measured based on the achievement and improvement of these key performance indicators, contributing directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our transportation and logistics operations.
