About the Role

As a Backend Developer at Bejoynd you will work in a team of skilled developers with years of experience with different backgrounds.

You will be part of the whole workflow from planning, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment to maintenance.

The team you will be part of will work in an agile way where everything is based on 2-week sprints and each day starts with a daily standup.

You will work closely with your teammates and have many opportunities to learn and grow in the role.

In this role, you should expect these responsibilities to be part of your day-to-day schedule:

Plan, deliver and maintain complete backend projects.

Build services using C#, Python and SQL.

Write tests using different testing frameworks.

Create and maintain documentation.

Participate fully in code reviews and work with internal designers, developers and QA to ensure quality code.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience working with programming languages such as C#, Java, Go, Ruby or Python.

Understanding of the entire software development process (design, development, testing and deployment) .

Experience with Restful web services and web app frameworks such as ASP.NET Core or Spring Boot.

Experience with git or any other distributed version control systems.

Experience working with relational databases and SQL.

Nice to haves:

Industry knowledge and experience.

Previous experience with testing frameworks such as Cucumber and SpecFlow etc.

Skills in frontend technologies such as Angular or React.

Have worked with agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.

Knowledge about CI/CD tools and workflow. (Spinnaker, Jenkins, Kubernetes).
