Food prep & kitchen (day shift)

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Prep and Production kitchen employee. This candidate would need availability between the hours of 7am-5pm. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing and producing food items; such as salads, wraps, fruit cups, and cleaning/cutting produce, according to our recipes and quality standards. As well as, washing, prepping and chopping vegetables. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a passion for maintaining high culinary standards.

Responsibilities:

Prepare food menu items following standardized recipes and instructions.

Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in food preparation.

Monitor food supplies and inform the supervisor of any shortages or discrepancies.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Follow proper handling, rotating and storage techniques for all food products.

Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of all food health and safety requirements.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to withstand a fast-paced and high-stress environment.

Ability to stand for entire shift and lift 50+ pounds.
