Job Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst near middle sex county. This position will play a critical role in assisting the Director of Rate & Budgets with the preparation of regulatory rate filings and the annual budget for a large company within the utilities industry.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Director of Rate & Budgets to prepare regulatory rate filings and annual budgets.

Utilize advanced financial modeling skills to follow, update, and create/build financial models accurately.

Ensure accuracy and consistency in data sources, tying out details, and maintaining data integrity.

Conduct thorough research to explain variances in financial performance and provide insightful analysis.

Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively with team members.

Communicate financial insights effectively at all levels of the organization.

Apply general accounting knowledge to support financial analysis and decision-making processes.

Perform ad-hoc analysis to address emerging business needs and support strategic initiatives.
