Within an innovative Manufacturing company, there's currently a permanent position open for an experienced Senior Accountant in the LEXINGTON, Kentucky area. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Manufacturing field and is located in Lexington, Kentucky.

- Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

- Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

- Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

- Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

- Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

- Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Great attention to detail

- Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

- Must have excellent time management skills

- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills

- Demonstrated knowledge of Review Financial Statements

- Financial Statement experience

- Adeptness in Monthly Financial Statements

- Asset Inventory experience preferred

- Deep understanding of Fixed Asset Accounting

- Solid understanding of Annual Inventory

- Month end closings experience preferred

- 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

- Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

- Ability to meet deadlines

- Knowledgeable of ERP systems

- Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
