Your responsibilities

Post payments based on explanation of benefits (EOBs) from insurance companies, patients and government agencies- Identify correct line item charge to post patient payments

Posts account adjustments quickly while maintaining data integrity- Strong Microsoft Office skills

- Previous experience with an electronic medical record system preferred

- Demonstrated knowledge of Patient Balance

- HIPPA compliance system implementation experience highly valued

- CPT-4 experience preferred

- Experience with CPT 4

- ICD CPT experience desired

- Hands-on experience with CPT Codes

- Good understanding of Remittance Advice

- Adeptness in Patient Billing

- Deep understanding of ICDM CPT

- Patient Appointments experience highly desired

- Expertise in Medical Payment Poster

- Prior experience with CPT Hcpcs Codes

- General familiarity with explanation of benefits (EOB's)

- Background working with Electronic Remittance

- Import Export experience highly preferred

- Foundational knowledge in ICD-10

- Practical knowledge of EOB

- Earlier work involving Remittance

- Previous experience working with HIPAA compliance patient privacy rules

- Comprehensive knowledge of electronic medical records

- Strong familiarity with outpatient coding

- ICD-9 CPT-4 experience required

- Foundational knowledge in patient accounting

- Comprehension of HIPAA-Regulated

- Minimum of 1 year payment posting or medical billing experience

- High School diploma or equivalent required
