Perl Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Develop and maintain PERL Script and SHELL scripts for automating system administration tasks including patch management, upgrades, deployments, network configuration, and text processing.

Automate patch management processes, system upgrades, and application deployments.

Should have an idea on Virtualization and Cloud technologies for provisioning and management.

Document scripts, procedures, and processes for knowledge sharing and system reliability.

Comprehensive understanding of NAS & SAN Storage systems (e.g., PMAX, DELL EMC, DORADO, OCEANSTORE). Must have hands-on experience in front-end development utilizing the Perl framework (Mojolicious) A strong grasp of utilizing REST and SOAP APIs from Python programs is essential.

Experience with repository management, version control (GitHub/GitLab), and CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to JavaScript, JS, CSS, and HTML is preferred.

Understanding of various Unix-like operating systems (e.g., Solaris, SUSE, AIX, UNIX). Good communication skills and ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Expert in PERL and KSH/BASH shell scripting.

Experience with NAS & SAN Storage systems.

Hands-on experience with front-end development using the Perl framework (Mojolicious). Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, particularly from Python programs.
