Assistant Production Manager

Assistant Production Manager plays a key role in supporting the Production Manager in achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational excellence within the automotive parts manufacturing plant.

Supervising Production: They oversee the day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety protocols.

Scheduling and Planning: They assist in creating production schedules, allocating resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment effectively to optimize production efficiency. Schedule floor resources to meet daily workload. Review processing schedules and production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures while considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.

Inventory Management: They monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely delivery of materials.

Quality Control: They work closely with quality control personnel to implement and maintain quality assurance processes, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from quality standards. Meet the expectations and standards set forth by IATF16945 and ISO14001

Skills & Experience

Prior experience in a production or supervisory role is often required. This could include roles such as production supervisor, team leader, or shift manager.

Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes, such as injection molding, stamping, machining, assembly, etc., is highly valued.

Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate production teams, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey instructions clearly, liaise with other departments, and resolve conflicts
