Civil Engineering Professional

Our client is a 75 year old, award-winning company looking to add a Project Engineer to their Aberdeen office. They have a backlog of projects in the area and seek to add a PE who will play a pivotal role in bringing projects to life on time and within budget as they continue to expand in this location.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in calculations involving figures, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and basic algebra, calculus, and geometry; Understanding of mathematical concepts and formulas used in Modeling Software

Responsibilities:

Develop project plans and specifications

Direct and coordinate work with surveying and civil engineering technician staff

Perform software modeling, construction administration, observation, and startup-related tasks

Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Civil or Civil/Transportation Engineering

Registration as a Professional Engineer in South Dakota or ability to obtain within six months of employment

Training or experience with modeling software for civil-site improvements desirable
