Price Industries is seeking a Service Desk Technician with experience in Active Directory, hardware support, networking, and Microsoft Office Suite. This is a hands-on position where you will interact with our user communities regularly. You’ll support a variety of technologies and respond to a wide range of support issues and manage the user’s expectations.

Keys

3+ years of Desktop support experience in a large-scale distributed environment.

Experience with Windows (XP/7/8/10), Active Directory, Microsoft Office, network protocols and telephony

Hardware support

Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for hardware and software in a Microsoft Windows environment.

Setup and maintain new computers, laptops, and mobile devices including all required hardware and software.

Support Microsoft office suite of products, and a variety of specialized applications.

Provide help desk support for users for all hardware and software issues and requests.

Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced.

Work individually and in a team on IT projects, such as hardware or software upgrades.

Comfortable in using a ticketing system to log all support calls and request.

Qualifications

Experience with troubleshooting CNC issues.

Experience with application support.

Experience with supporting IP phone systems.

General experience with Citrix, iOS, Android

Experience with configuring and troubleshooting MS Exchange email for MS Outlook, iOS and Android.

The ability to work in a fast paced, high volume, changing environment.

Demonstrated systematic, analytical approach to problem solving.

Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Experience in a help desk environment.

Experience with manufacturing environments will be considered as asset.

Excellent customer service skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivation and a team player attitude
