Insight Global Data Scientist – Data, Insights, & Analytics
An opportunity to join a growing team, drive impact, and help manage the growth of a multi-billion dollar, fast-growing enterprise. As part of Insight Global’s Data, Insights, and Analytics team, the Data Scientist will work with Executive leadership to help inform decision-making, identify new revenue opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and related topics as a subject matter expert in applying Data Science to business growth.
Overview and Requirements:
o Reports to the Manager of Data Science, AI, and ML
o Must be comfortable with or have a desire to interface with executive leadership, answer
questions, and voice opinions
o Comfortable with a high-growth, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
o Dedication to staying current in rapidly evolving data science, AI, and ML fields
o At least 3 years of experience in a data science or predictive/prescriptive analytics role
o Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools and techniques
o Proficient in Python (or R) and SQL
o Expertise in applying advanced analytics projects to solve business problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
o Collaborate with a cross-functional team across the organization
o Use statistical techniques to address our most challenging and highest-visibility business
questions and challenges
o Develop predictive and prescriptive models to facilitate optimization at all levels of the business
o Build sustainable data science frameworks, processes, and protocols that can scale with the
business
o Work with leadership to define business problems and deliver solutions via AI and ML
o Collaborate with product and development teams to deliver AI/ML model outputs through internal
platforms
o Monitor, measure, and report on true incremental impact and ROI of AI/ML models
o Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in AI/ML
o Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical
audiences
This role will take place in Dunwoody, Georgia.
