Superintendent Needed for Heavy Civil Company in the Central Valley

The Opportunity: As our Superintendent, you'll be at the forefront of our clients operations, overseeing project execution, coordinating resources, and ensuring that every aspect of our heavy civil projects exceeds expectations. From managing timelines and budgets to fostering a culture of safety and collaboration, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our success.

Lead and mentor a team of skilled professionals, including foremen, crews, and subcontractors, to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop and implement effective construction strategies.

Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.

Proactively identify and address potential issues or delays, keeping projects on track and mitigating risks.

Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and seamless coordination.

Utilize cutting-edge technology and best practices to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality on the job site.

Coordinate and schedule on site disking and/or clearing. Locate jobsite water sources. Verify existing sewer storm inverts prior to starting underground work.

What You'll Bring:

Extensive experience in heavy civil construction, with a proven track record of success in superintendent or similar roles.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment, coupled with a commitment to quality and safety.

Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think strategically and adapt to evolving challenges.

Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR) preferred.
