Summary

The Luminate Analyst is an active participant in the sales and logistic processes required to service the Walmart and Sam’s Club accounts. Responsible for the Walmart sales and insights reporting to identify trends and opportunities for the sales and replenishment team, the ideal candidate will possess data management skills in addition to analysis and reporting skills and experience.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Act as the Walmart Luminate expert for UWI. Attend monthly Luminate User Group meetings in Bentonville to learn best practices and share with the Bentonville team.

Contribute to the building of a Luminate database and be responsible for regular maintenance of that database.

Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports including sales and share reports and adhoc reports as needed to support sales and replenishment planning and activities for the Walmart Stores, dotcom, DSV, and total omni-channel businesses.

Provide regular category recaps for UWI Leadership with insights to sales trends and market share changes based on Luminate data.

Provide inventory reports and data pulls to Replenishment Analysts for weekly DC Pushes and manual order recommendations to Walmart.

Support Walmart business managers and UWI for product line reviews, assortment decisions and promotional plan recommendations with thorough analysis and understanding of Luminate data to identify, quantify, and communicate opportunities.

Collaborate with sales, product development, marketing and others on consumer insights and shopper behavior research projects as requested.

Participate in monthly OTIF/SQEP meetings to note possible action to improve OTIF/SQEP related performance.

Education and/or Experience

This position requires a bachelor’s degree or Business Analyst Certification. Database management/data science experience a plus. Advanced Retail Link and Luminate skills, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, Access Database utilization a plus. Major systems experience with Luminate and Power BI. Good planning/organizing skills. Ability to react to changing priorities and requirements. Team player with ability to work independently with little supervision.
