Veterinarian: Sr. Program Director

Suveto, a veterinary support organization, is seeking a full-time Senior Harbor Program Director. As part of a dynamic team, you'll facilitate educational programs within Harbor, our community platform designed to nurture veterinary students and early career veterinarians. The role involves program management, teaching, and technical support to extend Harbor's reach and ensure the success of our initiatives.

This is a remote position; incumbent must reside within the USA.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee educational program coordination and delivery in alignment with our mission.

Serve as a teaching extension and enhance the learning experience for participants.

Develop and improve organizational infrastructure to scale up programs.

Plan and execute special events and manage course modules and student meetups.

Navigate and utilize Harbor's WordPress and BuddyBoss back end to enhance the user experience.

Foster professional development and relationships with participants, guiding future practice leaders and owners.

Collaborate and help grow the Suveto network.

About Harbor and Its Programs

Harbor by Suveto is a thriving vet community of over 4,000 students and veterinary professionals. Initially modeled after LinkedIn, today it has grown into an experiential learning community focused on providing educational programs that foster knowledge, wellbeing, and community development among students and early-career vets. It offers a mobile app and integrated learning management system to make it easier for participants to develop skills in communication, leadership, and business, regardless of where they are located. Harbor's key programs are:

A year-round meetup series for vet students to build community, develop relationships, and discuss veterinary business topics. Complete with video lessons and guest speakers.

A summer externship providing vet students with hands-on business education while working within a vet practice, culminating in a two-day conference and presentation.

"Harbor GO," a two-year fellowship that prepares new vets for practice leadership and ownership, with balanced modules that boost the learner’s medical and professional competency and confidence.

Qualifications

A passion for veterinary professional growth and wellbeing.

Significant experience in educational program management or teaching.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Technical proficiency with WordPress desired. Must commit to learn at a minimum.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of the veterinary profession with business acumen desirable.

Ability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection.
