Network Equipment Repair Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Network Equipment Repair Technician for a job opening in West Chester, PA. The position would be contract to hire and on-site. The person should have experience repairing to the component level. The person would repair boards, routers, switches and other equipment.

Pay Rate Range: $22-32/hr

Network Equipment Repair Technician job responsibilities include:

Troubleshooting and repair of equipment to the component level

Soldering to repair, modify, and change parts on electronic circuit boards

Tests, troubleshoots, and repair of routers and switches, frames, or chassis used for telecommunications transport and switching equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience repairing electronics to the component level

Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, Alcatel Lucent (ALU) experience a plus

Experience with network, switching, and optical transport equipment

Soldering skills

Technical 2 year with Electronics Certification or 4-year engineering Degree preferred
