Laboratory Technician

Location: Bend OR

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Contract Length: 12 months

How will you make an impact?

The lab technician will provide support for scientists in a fast-paced and dynamic R&D and GMP laboratory areas. Your contributions will aid in advancing therapies for patients in need.

What will you do?

laboratory glassware, dispose waste, and maintain an orderly laboratory.

various solutions including dissolution media, diluents, and mobile phases.

inventory, ordering, and stocking of supplies.

and review laboratory notebooks, logbooks, and other documentation.

stability set downs, pulls, and disposals.

verifications on basic analytical equipment (balances, pipettes, pH meter).

Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.

Education and Experience

School Diploma or GED.

experience required; laboratory experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

attention to detail and organizational skills.

to work independently and in a team setting.

initiative and willingness to learn.

in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).

requires standing and walking for a shift.

requires lifting of up to 20 pounds.
