Sweetie Boy Transportation is a progressive, rapidly expanding auto-hauling company located in Richmond, VA, seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator for our CDL side of the company to join our team. We are seeking an experienced and like-minded Logistics Coordinator with similar attributes for our Dispatching Department to facilitate continued expansion.

As our Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate operational route planning to fully utilize fleet capacity for optimum efficiency and probability. Additional responsibilities for this position include the following:

Duties:

Partner with leadership to ensure fluid communication is met and relaying to our CDL drivers

Answering incoming calls from our CDL and answering questions concerning the loads assigned to them

Ensure all drivers are driving safely by monitoring our company safety telematics

Ensuring customers and driver concerns are handled above all else and communicated and partnering with senior leadership if needed for resolution

Treating each driver as a person, not a number

Understanding the importance of working in a team atmosphere

Monitor emails and reply within a timely manner

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, Rotating weekends

On call twice a week

Hours will vary based on the needs of the business

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year dispatching, load planning, and load building experience

Must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong problem-solving skills

Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in high stress situations

Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Proven skills in verbal/written communication

Exceptional quick-thinking, problem-solving, follow-through, leadership, and motivational abilities

Strong Computer skills are a must

A commitment to comply with and support safety standards, as well as, all regulatory and company policies and procedures is imperative
