Our client is a major player in the health and wellness category and their mission is to empower individuals to achieve their health and fitness goals through cutting-edge products and personalized solutions. They are currently in an exciting and highly transformational phase as a business as they are evolving their brand, marketing and sales channels. They are currently looking for an accomplished Sr. Manager of Lead generation/customer retention to join their team and play a pivotal role in this transformation.

This person will need to demonstrate experience developing organic lead generation and omni channel programs from the ground up. You will have about 5 direct reports and serve as the hub of communication across the soon to be sales team, social, marketing, creative and external agencies. You will help oversee email, SMS, subscription, loyalty and referral programs. If you are a content guru who loves making an impact this could be a great opportunity!

Job Summary and General Duties:

• Develop a lead generation program and following strategies with engaging content at the core

• Develop digital and owned channel lead generation strategies and tactics for target segments within food & beverage, and health & wellness CPG market(s) in alignment with the corporate and product portfolio strategy.

• Responsible for generating and nurturing marketing prospects (new and existing customers) through the marketing funnel toward conversion, and on to repurchase and loyalty.

• Manage a team of 5 across MarComm

• Oversee the email marketing, loyalty, referral, subscription and similar customer retention programs.

• Contributes insights to the development of marketing strategies to achieve revenue and other strategic goals for targeted customer groups.

• Uses analytical tools and platforms to identify optimal digital channels and media mix for assigned markets, sub-markets, and properties.

• Oversee the collection and utilization of first-party data through content, web, and email marketing to generate and nurture leads.

• Design omni-channel customer journeys that allow for regular touchpoints with prospects and new customers, ultimately moving them towards conversion, loyalty, and advocacy.

• Design omni-channel customer journeys to move prospects towards conversion, loyalty, and advocacy.

• Focus heavily on prospecting and new customer acquisition.

• Drive and execute upon lead generation marketing strategy with content, digital marketing, web, and email marketing teams.

• Responsible for optimization of all owned channels for lead generation and data collection.

• Create new business opportunities and increase organizational revenue through marketing initiatives.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and facilitate the handover of qualified leads.

• Monitor KPIs to measure reach, engagement, conversion rates, and retention of existing customers.

• Optimize web content and landing pages for search engine visibility and relevant traffic attraction.

• Oversee content team(s) and outsourced or agency resources to drive creation of compelling and targeted content assets (blog posts, infographics, etc.) to attract and engage potential leads at various stages of the buyer’s journey.

• Strong collaboration and coordination with Social Engagement, and Paid Digital Media teams to ensure optimization and cohesivness.

Attributes:

• Strong knowledge of e-commerce and digital marketing strategies.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Proficiency with lead generation tools and software (e.g., Salesforce).

• Proven track record of successful lead generation and sales.

• Expertise in CRM, email marketing tools, e-commerce, and CMS software.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 4+ years of lead generation and sales experience, preferably in the food and beverage CPG industry.

• Measurable Experience in developing and implementing lead generation strategies.

• In-depth knowledge of CRM and marketing automation systems.

• Proficient in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
