iWorld Professionals is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager for our client -- a growing construction firm in the US. This position is in Owings Mills, Maryland. If you are highly organized and enjoy supporting project managers and superintendents in coordinating and managing the project tasks for new construction projects then this position is for you!

Assistant Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:

Learn and perform estimating and project kick-off meetings

Assist in the project bidding process.

Understand and maintain project budgets.

Assist in the Request for Information (RFI) process.

Learn and execute the proposal submittal process.

Assist in preparing and maintaining project schedules.

Schedule and attend project meetings.

Understand project drawings and specifications.

Participate in the project close-out process.

Learn about insurance requirements, relevant laws, and bonding.

Assistant Construction Project Manager Requirements:

Strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask effectively.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to take initiative and assume responsibility for assigned tasks.

Proficiency with MS Office; ability to learn company-specific programs and software.

One year of construction industry experience preferred.

A degree in Construction Management, Design, or Engineering is a plus.

OSHA Certification is a plus.

Ability to work onsite and travel to customer sites in the region.
