Full Stack Engineer

Title: Full Stack Engineer - Onsite in Orlando
This is a 12+ month contract position - only available on a w2 basis, with benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k) offered.
Role Overview:
As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our team, responsible for designing, building, and shipping strategic software applications that enable internal business decision-makers to view and manage data related to decision science workflows. You'll work on enhancing a web-based analytic platform - collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and ship new features of a cutting-edge software platform using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
Integrate front-ends with Python and Django APIs, connected to an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL
Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to define application requirements, design user-friendly UIs, and implement data storage strategies
Lead technical project assignments from start to finish, meeting deadlines, managing priorities, and resolving technical issues within the team
Test new features, identify possible issues, and provide solutions to complex problems
Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in software development
5+ years of front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
2+ years of experience with Python
Expertise in React
Experience with Django or similar Python web frameworks
Experience with TypeScript
Experience building application pages and services that process large and complex volumes of data with various databases and data warehouses such as PostgreSQL and Snowflake
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Next.js
Proficiency in AWS web application architecture
Experience with GitLab CI/CD processes
Experience with Snowflake
Experience leading UX/UI design
Proficiency in optimizing front-end and back-end applications for large and complex datasets
Experience developing user scenarios, business requirements, mockups, and technical specifications
Experience evaluating, choosing, and rolling out team software tools and component libraries
Education:
Work experience or BA/BS required
