HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer

Title: HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Oak Brook, IL

Duration: Permanent Hire

Pay range: 80k – 120k (commensurate with experience)

Our client specializes in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical design of building systems for all types of commercial buildings. They are looking for an experienced leader in HVAC Mechanical Design and Engineering. Projects range from 100k - 5 million

Requirements:

B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

5+ years' experience in HVAC/Mechanical design for all types of commercial buildings

Conceptual design

Preparing construction documents

Knowledge in building codes

Experience in field surveys

Start a project and take it through the final stages to completion of the project.

Leadership abilities and able to work independently but also within a team environment.

P.E. license is helpful but not necessary

Must be proficient with AutoCAD
