Mid-Continent Steel and Wire, a division of Deacero USA, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients. This is a 100% outside sales position and will require frequent travel. The successful candidate will have experience in selling rebar, merchant bars & beams for the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new prospects from cold calls, networking activities and market awareness
Manage, maintain and grow Key Accounts by creating and implementing sales and service strategies
Develop sales forecasts and achieve established monthly and annual sales goals
Submit daily reports on travel and sales activities as required
Attend trade shows as directed
Travel as required for face-to-face sales visits on a regular basis
Increase sales to existing customers and maintain close relationship
Perform end-to-end sales and customer service tasks including but not limited to sales, order entry, ensuring invoices are paid on time, and apply payments
This position is also responsible for sales collection
Control travel expenses and remain within established budgets
Offer thoughts and suggestions to Management regarding effective ideas and materials for sales promotions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, preferred
knowledge of the steel industry a plus
Knowledge of CRM software and sales tools
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Proficient in utilizing Excel and PowerPoint
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Self-motivated and results-oriented
Willingness to travel as required
