My Client is hiring for a Senior HR Generalist to join their amazing team!

Location: Fremont Ca (Onsite)

Salary Target: $90,000 to 115,000 (DOE)

Responsibilities:

Manages all Payroll and Human Resources functions, serving as the intermediary between employees and management.

Maintains the organizational structure by updating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.

Oversees the recruitment and interviewing process, advising managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing exit interviews, and recommending necessary changes.

Coordinates new hire orientation programs.

Processes payroll according to company standards, handling tasks such as payroll garnishments, PTO, off-cycle payroll runs, 401k reconciliation, FSA reconciliation, and benefits program administration.

Updates employee information in the HRIS system.

Manages benefits administration, including implementing new plan year rollouts, managing qualifying event data, and overseeing COBRA administration.

Ensures compliance with I-9 regulations.

Administers workers' compensation programs and conducts audit reporting.

Handles inquiries from governmental agencies regarding employee data (EDD, IRS, FTB, etc.).

Ensures compliance with termination documentation requirements as mandated by labor laws.

Provides guidance to managers on disciplinary actions.

Oversees performance evaluation schedules to ensure timely reviews for all employees.

Coordinates company meetings and events.

Manages various clerical tasks and assists with special projects as needed.

5-8 years of experience as an HR Generalist.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various computer software programs.

Experience with Paycom and Epicor is preferred, but training can be provided.

Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll practices.

Ability to read and interpret written and verbal work instructions.

In-depth understanding of Federal and Local/State labor laws.

Familiarity with hiring and termination best practices and legal requirements.

Proficiency in benefit administration.

Knowledge of industry wage trends and structures.

Understanding of I-9 compliance.

PC literacy, including MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Hands-on experience with onboarding/offboarding using an HRIS system.

Familiarity with ATS software.

Ability to adapt to and thrive in a changing work environment while ensuring completion of essential job duties and functions.

Professional interaction skills with employees at all levels.

Self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
