Quality Assurance Manager

A global financial institution with majority ownership over the foreign exchange marketplace is hiring for a Test Manager. This firm handles billions of trades a day, focusing on settlement risk for real-time transactions.

The critical nature of these applications calls for necessitates a sharp, experienced Test Manager to lead system integration testing in a waterfall model. This role reports into the Head of Test, and supports indirect matrix management for consultants and vendors (including approximately 50 people in an offshore model with India and the UK). High-level soft skills are necessary for this role as there is a significant amount of documentation, presentation, and communication with int/ext. stakeholders.

This role requires 2 days in their Woodbridge Township office. No sponsorship opportunities are available at this time.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of test management experience

Test experience in the Financial Services domain (FX, Payment - RTGS, SWIFT)

Experience applying the Waterfall Methodology (Exposure to Agile is a bonus)

Strong foundations in SQL

While their software is proprietary and customized, you should have a good knowledge of process automation, performance testing, and MQ systems.

Exposure to Selenium preferred

Exposure to AWS preferred

Exposure to Unix preferred
