We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AWS Data Solutions Architect to join Sogeti. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data architecture, AWS services, and a consistent record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Design end-to-end data architectures on AWS that meet business requirements and align with best practices and industry standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements and architectural designs.

Develop data models, data flows, and data integration strategies to ensure efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval.

Evaluate and recommend appropriate AWS services and technologies to optimize data storage, processing, and analytics.

Implement data security and compliance measures to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.

Lead the implementation and deployment of data solutions, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and testing.

Provide guidance and support to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance of data solutions to meet SLAs and performance requirements.

Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, technologies, and trends in data architecture and analytics.

Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Extensive experience architecting and implementing data solutions on AWS, including data lakes, data warehouses, and big data analytics platforms.

Proficiency in designing and optimizing data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines.

Strong understanding of AWS services such as Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, etc.

Solid grasp of data security principles, encryption techniques, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Consistent track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional) is preferred.
