Data Warehouse Developer

Robert Half is partnering with a small to medium sized business in need of a Data Warehouse Developer. The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining the design and integrity of both customer-facing and internal systems as well as providing technical assistance to team members with system and network requests.

Value Generation & Protection

Maintain & support current Data Warehouse environment and seek to enhance through the creation of a Data Warehouse growth strategy.

Deliver prototypes in support of Data & Analytics Ideation – facilitate bringing together data sets from disparate sources, cleaning, merging and consolidating for PoC purposes – identify and expand current Data Warehouse capability to support this.

Contribute and support the implementation of a Data Strategy

Experience Required:

Deep understanding of data platforms

Experience with T-SQL and SQL.

Understanding of key ‘data pain points’ in regular business experiences

Strong communication skills, among IT, digital and business stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, accounting, economics, other related discipline.

5+ years working as a data analyst working with large sets of data; 2+ years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards.

Strong understanding of data systems (BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, SSIS ETL, etc.), process automation and standardization.

Hands on experience using Tableau or Power BI to build/deploy highly complex visualizations, while recognizing constraints and limitations utilizing best practices.

Experience working directly with business analysts or business sponsors to gather and validate functional requirements and provide the design specifications.
