COMC is looking to hire Senior Windows Application Developer with substantial Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Universal Windows Platform (UWP) experience to help us build the next generation of applications to support our internal processes. Reporting to the Senior Engineer Manager, the Senior Windows Application Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining multiple internal desktop applications built in C# on either WPF or UWP. The ideal candidate will be a team player, familiar with collaboration tools and practices when working on software development team in an agile environment, and skilled at mentoring junior developers to help them grow.

Job Responsibilities

Contribute to on-going software development effort on day-to-day basis

Participate in peer-review process for code of team members on projects assigned

Collaborate with project team members to achieve sprint goals

Participate in agile ceremonies and occasional meetings when needed related to software features currently being worked on

Continuously learn new technologies, patterns, and best practices

Present ideas for continuously improving systems and processes

Approximately 80% active software development time, 20% time in meetings and other tasks

Develop weekly and monthly status reports.

Be a willing and collaborative partner to support all areas of the organization.

Maintains high level of confidentiality.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Expert skills in application development with WPF and UWP – 5+ years

Expert knowledge of C# – 5+ years

Expert skills programming against REST APIs and SQL databases – 5+ years

Additional Qualifications

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Knowledgeable about professional sporting industry (NBA, NFL, MLB etc.) is a plus.

Interested in learning about the trading card industry.
