Laundry Aide

Overview:

We are seeking a Laundry Aide for our long term care facility.

Schedule includes This is a 30 hr a pay period, weekend position only. Hours are 6:00am-2pm.

About our community

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.

Responsibilities:

Gather linen from designated areas, transport to laundry in covered cart

Sort and weigh linen in specified area of laundry. Load linen into proper washer.

Start washer; monitor water temperature to assure it remains between 160 degrees to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.

Load clean linen in dryer, regulating drying time and temperature.

Fold and place dry linen on clean linen cart.

Distribute clean linen to each floors’ linen supply room.

Qualifications:

Have the ability to work independently and dependably to maintain the cleanliness of the common areas and resident living areas.

Reading, writing and speaking English is a requirement of the position.
