Overview

This position will serve as a liaison between the Finance team and our technology partners with respect to Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM and all related financial systems. The Sr Analyst plays a key role in systems upgrades and implementation projects to ensure the Finance Team’s requirements are met and IT understands Finance issues and concerns. This individual requires a strong technical background and expertise in a variety of systems, specializing in ERP and Finance specific applications as well as the ability to translate and provide understanding of changes to non-technical users. This position will provide the first level of business support for Oracle and other Finance systems.

Responsibilities:

Provide support for Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM, OnBase, TRECS, EDMCS, FCCS, Vertex and other Finance systems. Ownership of system updates, data accuracy and overall maintenance for various systems. Responsibilities include but not limited to the processing of account/cost center requests, report maintenance, troubleshooting of access, reporting issues, adhoc reporting requests and creation of mass allocations within the GL. Responsible for loading data from ERP to various systems and ensuring accuracy of data.

Serve as subject matter expert for various projects impacting Finance based applications. Leverage knowledge and expertise of business processes to effectively account for new requirements based on business priorities (Digital initiatives, accounting standard changes, etc). Recommend key design decisions, document the impact of initiatives on the system, lead the business through the requirements gathering process and communicate with business partners (Accounting, Finance, Treasury, IT Product Owners, Tax, Legal, etc).

Responsible for General Ledger month-end financial system close process which includes loading, consolidating, generating, and distributing financials statements to leadership with a sense of urgency while verifying accuracy.

Acts as the liaison between Finance and IT, leading testing efforts for Oracle and other finance systems for projects, enhancements, patching/upgrades, etc. Work independently to recommend and implement changes as needed to financial systems based on changes in accounting standards, business changes, etc.

USD $77,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Wage:

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree required, preference in Accounting, Finance, Business and/or Information Technology/Systems.

3-5 years of experience with suite of Oracle Financial Products, either in Accounting, IT, or (preferred) a combination of both. Specific applications/modules include: Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Cloud EPM, Google Looker, Oracle Reporting tools including BI Publisher, OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Essbase and SmartView.

Experience with systems testing, test plans and project mapping.

Experience with business process improvement.

Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with a variety of individuals including internal and external clients.

Meeting Facilitation experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and shift priorities.

Ability to interpret and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings.

Detail oriented with strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Plans and completes work effectively and efficiently, meets assigned deadlines, and makes sound decisions.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.* The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
