Position Purpose

The Project Manager who will be accountable for the overall delivery of the project for Middle office scope, and seamless functioning of the program office.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Ø Responsible in managing end-to-end of a project within middle office scope across location

Ø Ability to design & implement governance, and develop/drive deliverables & reports for projects /program office (PMO)

Ø Delegate authority, assign deliverables, and hold project members accountable for operations, controls, and deadlines relating to project work streams

Ø Collaborate with global counterparts and local operational managers to ensure proper coverage of assigned tasks

Ø Budget planning and resource allocation for project work streams

Ø Ensure the project is executed based upon the project plan

Ø Control, management and escalations of all risks, impacts and delays to the project

Ø Champion client relationship management throughout project stages in conjunction with local and global stake holders

Ø Accountable to feed all project stakeholders (Program, Operations, Client, Management, etc.) and ensure the key and appropriate updates/issues are raised

Contributing Responsibilities

Ø Undertake and maintain Service Level Agreements for new global operating model post migration

Ø Support a high level of organizational communication and corporate awareness concerning workflow changes and future state of middle office operations

Ø Track and identify project needs from senior management and operational support teams in order to meet objectives

Ø Leading execution of UAT phase, tracking results, Training plan, parallel run and go-live, etc.

Ø Create project meeting agendas and lead weekly and monthly update meetings detailing status of project to key stakeholders involved

Ø Willingness to take on other duties as assigned by management

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Ø Proven Project Management (PM) and Program Office (PMO) experience delivering results for over seven years or more

Ø Strong negotiating and leadership skills to influence senior management and drive change management in order to meet deadlines

Ø Demonstrated experience in leading organizational transformation

Ø Willingness to act as subject matter expert on behalf of the business when needed

Ø Collaborative decision maker competent in process improvement discipline and implementation of industry acknowledged best practices

Ø Ability to influence decision making throughout various organizational levels

Ø Problem solving and problem resolution skills at a functional level

Ø Ability to effectively advise and communicate with executive leadership, manage change and inspire partners to embrace change

Ø Communicates effectively with diverse groups and individuals across different locations

Ø Relevant middle office operations experience with familiarity with Trade Processing (in both trade capture and trade matching and settlement functions)

Ø Experience providing trade support for listed securities, exchange traded derivatives, and OTC transactions

Ø Play the role of a PM / PMO lead in their current role

Specific Qualifications (if required)
