IT SPECIALIST

Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Specialist who has professional experience in software development in a manufacturing, e-commerce, or logistics industry and a deep understanding of technology to support the building, implementing, and maintaining of all operational software systems such as ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.

The IT Specialist will be monitoring and overseeing software development and a diverse portfolio of complex software applications including, but not limited to, warehouse management and ERP supporting sales channel EDI connection, e-commerce platform, Logistics WMS and TMS, CRM and other ERP functionalities, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and configure settings of all systems including but not limited to Oracle NetSuite (ERP), WMS, TMS as well as own database middleware etc. by coordinating with the tech team of the SaaS partner or managing outsourcing developers.

Troubleshooting bugs and errors of systems and software during day-to-day operation, including but not limited to, EDI connections, daily order processing as well as other ERP related issues and errors.

Oversee all technical resources and projects, analyze briefs, write progress reports, identify risks, etc., help advance the development resource and establish strong cross-functional collaboration.

Provide user support training on application systems.

Develop and refine standard operating procedures for application support and maintenance.

Collect and report operational metrics including service level agreement compliance.

Maintain a hardware and software license inventory.

Collaborate with department heads to develop, propose and implement IT roadmap aligned with the company's vision and goals, getting approvals from the Executive Team.

Identify and present new technologies, tools, systems, as well as, best practice recommendations to support business growth, including but not limited to, helping business teams consistently optimize procedures, improve productivity, achieve scalability and sustainability.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information systems technology.

Excellent technical, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience in the software development of below areas:

ERP

CRM

Database development

WMS / TMS

EDI / API Connection

E-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify.

Excel Macro experience is a great plus.

Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills.
