Turbine Mechanic

Job Description

FTS Flexblue Staffing is looking for experienced Turbine Mechanics for a long-term role for our #1 client in La Porte, Tx.!

-This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. 1,040 hours (Around 5 Months)

-Once you're brought on permanent all benefits kick in and you're eligible for a bump in pay! The contract could also be bought out early based on performance.

-Roles: Disassembly, clean, inspect, reassembly turbomachinery

-Shift: Swing and you will usually get around 50-60 hours a week.

-$28-35/hr. starting out

- Must have 5+ years of Turbine Mechanic Experience:

Ideally a shop-oriented turbine/compressor mechanic

Experienced disassembling and reassembling engines and other complex components.

Willing to work a heavy load of 7-12's.

Able to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc).

Own basic hand tools, impacts, indicators, and small diameter mics. Willing to purchase tools as needed.

Good with numbers and documentation

Safety-oriented and team focus.

-Wage: Depends heavily on Turbomachinery Experience but likely ranges from $27-35 (seasoned/experienced in this exact trade/setting)Company Description
