Talgo Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the team in Milwaukee, WI 2 - 4 years of experience to join our organization.
SUMMARY
Install, troubleshoot, and perform minor repair on laptop/desktop computing equipment. Also solve user's routine problems with network or applications software.
Some duties of the position are, but not limited to:
Provide end user support for all desktops, laptops and network related issues including printers, internet, emails, hardware, operating systems and other propriety software
Be part of the global Help Desk team for Talgo Group located in Spain
Support and follow up with the Talgo Group IT team on tickets opened
Ensure that personal computers, laptops, desktop, telecommunication systems and network, are functioning properly and available for their intended users
Troubleshoot, repair, install and upgrade operating systems and other proprietary software
Assist in hardware and software deployment planning and execution
Grant and maintain access to the network drives
Support VPN
Maintain Talgo Inc. Microsoft SharePoint page
As needed, prepare reports for projects and tickets
Deliver exceptional user support service
Bring a wide degree of creativity and flexibility on finding solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2 – 3 years of experience as a Desktop Support Specialist in Windows based environment
Proficient with Windows Server 2016/2019
Proficient with Windows 7, 10 and workstation connectivity to servers, printers and internet
Configuration CMDB tools.
Active Directory, DHCP and DNS management
LAN/WAN knowledge
M365 administration
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
Other important qualifications:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to take and pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be able to successfully pass a background check, including MVR records
WORK SCHEDULE
Work hours will usually be from 8am- 12:30pm, but may include evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary. Unforeseen situations may require after hours availability. Some travel may be required.
