Land Survey Manager PLS

Job Description

Immediate need for a Survey PLS Project Manager with an award winning and national straight Survey firm in the New York City area! You will be responsible for the management and delivery of active and on-going projects throughout the 5 Burroughs.

Responsibilities:

Professionally Licensed Surveyor (PLS) is required.

Quality control of all survey documents, including survey plans, record plots, title commitment reports and construction layout services.

8+ years experience working within the land surveying industry.

Knowledge of field equipment such as Robotic Total Stations, GPS units, and electronic data collectors.

Familiarity with town zoning regulations and local governance laws regarding land and property.

Qualifications:

Usage of AutoCAD software such as Carlson Survey and Civil3d Land Desktop Companion.

Strong project management skills.

Property deed research and parcel boundary calculation.

Topographic drafting of linework and contours.

Formulating proposals and price quotes for clients.

Field work including boundary reconnaissance and traversing.
