ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for Facilities Manager Ordinary Resident (OR) candidates who will be responsible for the complete maintenance of the HVAC and generators systems for the designated facilities. They will be responsible for interfacing with onsite personnel as well as local maintenance services to ensure equipment is running properly. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.

Prefer candidates with a valid US passport.

Must have an active, current Secret Clearance.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

All candidates will perform the following duties:

Provide an on-site facilities management and coordinate personnel changes with the Government.

Coordinate the day-to-day maintenance and corrective actions in response to facilities maintenance.

Provide status updates in cases of facilities actions that may affect the operations capabilities.

Work closely with the Teleport site personnel to ensure proper reporting and timely resolution of facilities related matters.

Coordinate the maintenance and repair of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC), generators and UPS systems.

Report all facilities related maintenance and repair issues.

Handle work orders, facility upgrades, etc. and coordinating work with the Government.

Provide knowledge of HVAC and commercial electrical systems.

Provide working knowledge of nuclear biological chemical (NBC) overpressure/filtration systems.

Provide good management skills.

Provide good verbal and communication skills.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

All candidates will have the following minimum skills:

Must be able to speak and read English and German.

Obtain a German work permit and perform for the duration of the contract under German Local National status.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facility management.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience running a facility in a military environment.

The Government will provide necessary office space and supplies for the Facilities manager, to include internet and telephone access.

Travel as required by the Government.

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork.

Work well independently or as a member of a team environment

Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
