Final Assembler

Temp-to-Hire

First Shift:

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 (depending on experience)

Major Duties/Functions:

Perform moderately complex assembly of mechanical or electrical components requiring fitting, adjusting, and/or fabrication for assembly of products

Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures, height gauges, and calipers

Ability to accurately read measuring devices to verify accuracy and placement of assembled components, making adjustments as necessary and/or notifying appropriate personnel of non-conformance

May monitor pressure gauges and document readings for hydro testing

May measure, cut, and assemble wood to crate finished products

May train other Assemblers

Perform multiple production tasks to allow for effective job rotation

Participate in continuous improvement processes

Recommend changes to and participate in the review of manufacturing procedures

May perform electronic transactions within the business operating system

Perform daily organization and cleanup of work area

Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervision

Perform work of miscellaneous nature

Experience: Two (2) years of directly related experience required

Education: High School Diploma or GED (will be verified)
