Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the company's financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.

Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development and growth.

Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations, and ensure the company's accounting practices remain up-to-date and compliant.

Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and management, to support business objectives and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office

Experience in bookkeeping and financial record keeping

Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good organisational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

Relevant certification is a plus
