ADT Residential Technician

Job Description

TEKsystems is looking for individuals who have experience installing security in residential and small businesses. Each candidate will be responsible for tracking their inventory, training customers on the system that is installed, programming and installing the security system. Work schedule is Tuesday - Saturday but moving to Monday - Saturday during busy times.

Must be able to use their own vehicle to travel from job to job on a daily basis. Able to carry and transport a ladder, has basic hand tools, and able to maintain proper security systems inventory organized

This is a six month contract to hire.

Residential installation technician. Responsible for installing ADT Command systems for burglary/home monitoring/automation (70% of installations). Will be responsible for wiring and programming new systems at homes. Potential for some small business work as well. Looking for someone with prior residential alarm install experience. Home phone/cable/internet install experience from a cable/mso. Customer service is huge. Need to be personable, and comfortable interacting with customers.

Top Skills' Details

1. Cabling Experience. Residential cable/internet/phone install experience. Commercial structured cabling experience is a plus.

2. Programming Experience. Fire/Burg/CCTV/Access control install major plus.
