Process Design - Wind Blade Technology

A ) Lead, manage and motivate an energetic young team of Designers and Product Developers :-

1. Effective task planning & resource utilization

2. Develop objectives and goal setting for teams, follow up and assess them

3. Performance management & Developmental Plans of all reporting engineers

4. Personal development for improved effectiveness at work

B ) Task Execution :-

1. Manage the detailed process design of the product; produce design which meets both customer specifications and international or local standards

2. Give input to M&E Product Design engineers for design hours required for project execution

3. Produce the safe and reliable/robust design that is proprietary to the company and protect the company Intellectual property

4. Produce input to Supply Chain and Quality Control

5. Check Vendor and Customer documents

6. Work out and Improve design standards in order to increase engineering productivity

7. Produce design documents within budgeted time and costs

8. Manage contract changes and provide input to the Project Manager on cost and time impacts

9. Identify potential applications for new technology

10. Establish the actual capacities and capabilities of RBUs to identify bottlenecks and scope for optimisation

11. Act as a technical focal point for all engineering

Collate and evaluate new technologies from all disciplines

12. Prepare Operating & Maintenance Manuals and testing protocols together with M&E Product Design engineers

Experience - 10 to 20 years
